Two months on from the merger between Technology Centres Australia (TCA) and Adaptive Computer Services in Alstonville, we’re proud to reflect on a transition that has not only gone smoothly but has also strengthened our commitment to delivering exceptional IT support across the Northern Rivers.
The acquisition, finalised on 1 August 2025, brought together the trusted legacy of Adaptive—built over 25 years by Phil Elmer and Natalie Elmer—with the resources and reach of TCA. We’re honoured to continue their vision of being the best IT business in the region.
As part of the merger, TCA staff from Ballina joined the Adaptive team in Alstonville, creating a unified and expanded workforce. This integration has already delivered tangible benefits to our clients: faster response times, broader expertise, and more hands on deck to support your business when it matters most.
Importantly, we retained all existing Adaptive staff, ensuring continuity for clients and preserving the deep local knowledge and relationships that have made Adaptive a trusted name. The feedback from customers has been overwhelmingly positive, with many noting the seamless nature of the transition and the enhanced support experience.
We’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Phil and Nat for building such a respected business and for entrusting TCA with its future. Your dedication to excellence laid the foundation for everything we’re now able to build upon.
To our clients—new and long-standing—thank you for your trust. We’re excited about what’s ahead and remain committed to making your technology work.
